About m.bbref.com » Baseball-Reference Blog

The mobile site is now live.  Get all of the player stats, team stats, league and all-time leaders, and a good deal more in a format optimized for your mobile phone.

Please see the about page above for information on what we've mobilized, special features on how to use the site and any other mobile issues I think you should know about.

We are auto-redirecting mobile phones from full-site pages to corresponding mobile pages when appropriate, but you always have the option of clicking back through to the full site via a button that appears at the top of every mobile page.

Let us know about any bugs, requests or feedback you have.

Looks alright, though I'm not the sort to use mobile websites as it is (I typically look at regular Wikipedia on my iPod Touch instead of the mobile one, for instance). Those who use mobile devices AND mobile sites will be able to leave more meaningful comments. Looks good as-is, though.

Works great on my Samsung Vibrant. The end of bar and water cooler arguments.

Great addition. I didn't think the site was too bad to use on the iPhone as it was but this is easier once you get used to it. Thanks.

One thing though: using the regular site it takes 1 tap to get to a team's current stats. Using the mobile site it takes 5 taps to get to just the hitting stats. Granted you could always just bookmark the pages of teams you're interested in but still, easier access would be nice.

Thanks Sean, I remember asking you about this a year ago and glad to see it realized. Being that you've worked hard to get this up and coming, a bit greedy, but any chance to make this universal across all the sports-reference sites. Thanks again! (only additional suggestion similar to one of posts above would be the use of bookmarking for easier access to a specific team, player, or stat)

Ian, we are definitely going to add it for the other sites. BBR is up next this month *knock on wood*.

Tom, I'll look at that issue. Use patterns are always a bit tricky to discern, but I'll look at fixing this. You can also type "2010 phillies" to get to their page.
