The Regensburg Legionäre is a team in Bundesliga. They won their first title in 2008 thanks to three players who had minor league experience after starting their careers in Regensburg - Rodney Gessmann, Donald Lutz and Ludwig Glaser; in addition, Mike Bolsenbroek had pitched for Regensburg before playing in the minors but had US college experience as well.
