Kit Pellow won the Mexican League Triple Crown with a .381 average, 34 homers and 107 RBI for Saraperos de Saltillo in 2008. He was the 7th Triple Crown winner in league history, following Cool Papa Bell (1940), Angel Castro (1951), Ty Gainey (1995), Alonzo Perry (1956), Rene Gonzalez (1952) and Wild Bill Wright (1943).
