One of three generations of the Jack Dunn family to be involved in the Baltimore Orioles (IL) club, Jack Dunn Jr. played the outfield for the 1914 Orioles (the same team that began Babe Ruth's career) under the management of his father Jack Dunn Sr. He hit .173/~.221/.219 with 63 strikeouts in 278 AB. He followed the team to Richmond, VA the next year; for the Richmond Climbers he batted .178/~.247/.178, failing to collect a single extra-base hit in 174 at-bats. Briefly with Baltimore in 1918 he went 3 for 12 at the plate and pitched two innings. He was 0 for 1 for the 1922 club, completing his professional baseball career. Jack Jr. was the father of Jack Dunn III.
