1977 Division II College World Series

The 1977 Division II College World Series was held in Springfield, IL. This was the first tournament to have a field of eight teams. The tournament was won by UC Riverside, coached by Jack Smitheran. The runner-up was Eckerd College. Eckerd outfielder/pitcher Joe Lefebvre and UC Riverside pitcher Steve Glaum were named the series Co-Most Outstanding Players.
