The 1971 Division II College World Series was held in Springfield, MO. The tournament was won by Florida Southern College, coached by Hal Smeltzly. The runner-up was Central Michigan University. Florida Southern second baseman Greg Pryor and third baseman Kevin Bryant were named the series Co-Most Outstanding Players.
